Single
Registration Applications are used to apply
for United Canine Association registration in the following
situations:
A. Dogs which
are currently registered with another
recognized kennel club
may be dual registered with the United Canine Association by completing the
UCA Single Registration Application, including a photo copy of the other kennel
club’s registration papers and 3 photos (1 frontal,1 left sided
view and 1 right sided view) of the dog to
confirm it is of proper breed type or
phenotype as defined by the UCA Breed
Standard and
Registration Rules / Guidelines,
or
B. Dogs which
have no previous registration history may be
registered by providing a signature
attesting to the purebred status of the dog
along with 3 photos (1 frontal,1 left sided
view and 1 right sided view) of the dog to
confirm it is of proper breed type or
phenotype as defined by the UCA Breed
Standard and
Registration Rules / Guidelines.
Single
Registration Applications
are available in PDF format from our web
site or the UCA staff will be happy to mail
applications to you.
Mail all applications to the
United Canine Association's
Registration Office with the proper fee. Applications without photos will not
be processed.

Dog Registration -
$20
To apply for registration of your dog with the UCA you must complete a single registration application
and mail it to the United Canine Association registration
office along with the correct fee to have your dog certified and entered into
the UCA registry and genetic database.
An official certified UCA registration certificate that
among other things identifies you as the owner on record will be issued and mailed to you upon the approval
and completion of the registration of your dog.

Single
Dog Registration with Photo
- $35
For individuals that
want a personal and unique touch on their
dog's registration papers, we offer the UCA
registration certificate with a photo of
your special dog.
If you choose this
service, your dog will be registered in the
same manner as described for the Single Dog
Registration.
In addition, your dog’s
picture will be included on the certified
United Canine Assoc. registration certificate.
The United Canine Association Photo Registration Certificate also
provides a valuable from of identification
in the case of theft or if your canine
companion is lost and can aid in recovery
and show proof of ownership.

Certified Pedigrees (3 generations) - $15.00
The United Canine
Assoc. can provide a certified pedigree of at least 3 generations of parentage or ancestry on most UCA
registered dogs.
A pedigree is
essentially a family tree of ancestors that may be ordered
at the time of registration of your dog or
at any time there after.
Pedigrees may be updated
with ancestral information from other
approved registry organizations at any time.

Certified Pedigrees (4 generations) - $25.00
The
United Canine Association can issue a certified pedigree for
4 generations of ancestry on most UCA
registered dogs.
A certified pedigree may be ordered
at the time of registration of your dog or
at any time there after.
Pedigrees may
be updated with ancestral information from other approved registry organizations at any time.

Certified Pedigrees (5 generations) - $35.00
The
United Canine Assoc. can generate and offer a certified pedigree of 5 generations of ancestry on most UCA
registered dogs.
A certified pedigree may be ordered
at the time of registration of your dog or
at any time there after.

be updated with ancestral information from other approved registry organizations at any time.

Registration Application for Litters

Litter registration applications are used to apply for UCA
registration of a litter of puppies.
Both parents (Sire & Dam) must be UCA registered before a breeding / litter can be
registered with the United Canine Association.
A registration application for a litter
may be faxed or mailed to the United Canine Association's
registration office.

Registration Fee for Litters - $20
The United Canine Association (UCA) offers high quality printed puppy certificates / papers for each puppy in the litter to its members for one low cost for the entire litter.
The "Temporary Puppy Certificates" give
valuable important information such as the puppies
Sire and Dam, their registered names and their
UCA registration numbers, each "Temporary Puppy Certificate" also
provides each pups sex, color, date of birth
and list the registered owner of the litter.
To receive your "Temporary Puppy Certificates" / litter papers,
the owner of the litter must have both parents UCA registered then complete a UCA Litter Application Form.
Once completed the UCA Litter Application Form may be faxed
in or mailed to the United Canine Association registration office.
The UCA also offers breeders the option of register their litters of puppies online.

Kennel Name Registration - $100
The United Canine Association (UCA) offers breeders the option to protect the
exclusive use / rights of their kennel's
name in the naming of UCA registered dogs
via the UCA Kennel Name Program.
When a kennel name is registered, the United Canine Association (UCA) will exercise reasonable care in protecting the name for the exclusive use within the state of the individual (s) to whom it has been registered.
A UCA registered kennel name is protected in all positions of a dog's name.
For example, if the name "Rio Bravo Bulldogges" was a registered kennel name, then the name could not appear anywhere in the name of a dog without the written permission of the owner of that kennel name.
Further, a dog or litter cannot be registered with the use of a kennel name as its owner of part of its registered name unless the kennel name is registered with the United Canine Association (UCA).
